Luis Miranda (Lin-Manuel's father) founded the non-profit Hispanic Federation in 1990 to get resources to those in need.  They are efficient (90% of every dollar goes to community services). move quickly (1st chartered flight was on 9/23). and bonafide (BBB. Guidestar. Charity Nav).
